Wasim Jaffer is a former Indian cricketer, widely regarded as one of the most prolific runscorers in Indian domestic cricket history. Born on February 16, 1978, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, he primarily played as an opening batsman known for his solid technique, patience, and ability to accumulate big scores. Jaffer represented India in 31 Test matches, scoring 1944 runs with a highest score of 212 against the West Indies. He also played in 2 One Day Internationals.
