Vinod Duggal - A Lifestory
A Dedicated Civil Servant, Shaping India With Unwavering Commitment

A respected worker in the Indian government has spent his life helping the public. He is not the actor from the 2014 movie, "Punjab 1984," but a well respected government worker. His long work life is known for being honest and dedicated. People know him best for his work in important government jobs, where he dealt with hard problems with strong dedication. He had important jobs, like being the main Home Secretary and Governor of Manipur. This showed he could handle difficult government and political situations. People he worked with often said good things about how calm and smart he was, especially in tough times. One person he worked with before said he was "a strong support, always ready to give good advice." He did more than just hold jobs. He helped create rules and plans to make the government better and help people. He thought it was important to "always think about what people need first," and that idea guided him his whole career. Even after he stopped working, he still cared about what happened in the country. He shared his knowledge with new government workers. He will be remembered as someone who worked hard to help others, leaving a lasting mark on how India is run. He stopped working in 2007.
