Veerapandiya Kattabomman - A Lifestory

Veera pandiya Katta bomman, a name that sounds strong and brave, was a real Tamil freedom fighter and king. Born in 1760, his life showed how he never gave up against the British East India Company, which was getting stronger. He ruled Pancha lankurichi and was a big problem for the people in charge, because he would not pay taxes and fought against what they did.
