Saba Karim is a former Indian cricketer and cricket administrator known for his contributions to both the playing field and the management side of the sport. Born on November 14, 1967, he primarily played as a wicketkeeper and righthanded batsman. Karim represented India in both Test and One Day International (ODI) formats, although his international career was relatively brief. He made his ODI debut in 1997 and his Test debut in 2000. A significant eye injury sustained during a domestic match in 2000 unfortunately cut short his playing career.

Beyond his playing days, Karim transitioned into cricket administration. He held several important positions, including that of a national selector for the Indian cricket team. In this role, he was involved in the selection process for players representing India in various formats of the game. He also served as the General Manager of Cricket Operations for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of cricket operations within the BCCI, contributing to the overall organization and development of cricket in India. His experience as a player, combined with his administrative roles, provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the sport, allowing him to contribute significantly to Indian cricket both on and off the field.
