Musiri Subramania Iyer was a luminary in the realm of Carnatic music, revered for his soulful renditions and significant contributions to the art form. Born in Musiri, a town that became his namesake, he initially trained under various gurus, including the renowned violinist Karur Chinnaswami Iyer. However, it was his discipleship under the legendary vocalist Sangita Kalanidhi T.S. Sabesa Iyer that truly shaped his musical trajectory.
