Mirra Alfassa - A Lifestory

A very important person in the area of spirit and soul in the 20th century was more than just a name. She was a French Indian spiritual teacher, someone who studied hidden things, and a yoga teacher. Her life was very connected to the way of thinking in India. Her trip started in Paris on 21 February 1878 and ended with her becoming a helper to Sri Aurobindo, forming the main idea of complete yoga. People called her "The Mother." She was not just a teacher but a living example of the divine woman. Before she met Sri Aurobindo in 1914, she had already spent time learning about hidden things and spiritual ways.
