This person was more than just a soldier; they showed great courage and love for their country. This brave Indian Army Captain is known in military history for their bravery during the Kargil War in 1999. After finishing the National Defence Academy in 1997, their dedication to serving was clear from the beginning. This young officer of the 1/11 Gorkha Rifles showed amazing leadership and bravery when things were very hard. What they did to take Jubar Top in the Batalik area is well known. Even after getting badly hurt, they kept going, pushing their team to win. People who worked with them often talked about how excited and strong they were. One officer said, "They always led from the front, helping us to go further than we thought we could." Their leadership was like scenes from the Bollywood war movie "Border," where soldiers show great friendship and give up everything for each other. Sadly, this person died on 03 July 1999, at age 24. Because of their great bravery and unselfishness, they were given the Param Vir Chakra after death, which is India's highest award for military people. Their famous saying, "If death comes before I show what I can do, I promise I'll defeat death," shows how brave and dedicated they were. This person's story still encourages soldiers and people today.
